MySQL user settings

Hello,

I am a bit of a noob when it comes to MySQL, what I'd like to do is this:
- Users set up with usernames the same as Active Directory user names;
- One database for every user, with the same name as the user name;
- Each user (except administrators, obviously) must only be able to access their own database, and none of the others.

I hope this is achieveable, and any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Re: MySQL user settings

Sounds like you are using Microsoft products. You will need to tell us what programming language you are using because you will have to interface with Mysql and the programming language to achieve this. It is far from trivial.

Re: MySQL user settings

Never mind, I got it done using MySQL Control Center (http://www.mysql.com/products/mysqlcc/)
We had to enter the names and stuff by hand, but there aren't that many users so that didn't matter much.

Thanks anyway.
