Analyze Table
I've been reading this page:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/explain.html It is fascinating. But I wish they had better explained Analyze table. It seems to improve performance of selects and joins but is that something you need to call from your app just before running your real select query? Or something you should call every day or every hour? Does anyone know more? |
